About the Boat
The Gulf Stream Eagle is a 100’ long aluminum hulled vessel built by Camcraft in Louisiana. It was originally designed as a supply vessel for work in the Gulf of Mexico, bringing personnel and materials to offshore oil rigs. Captain Mark acquired the boat in 1989 and converted it to a liveaboard dive vessel for scuba diving trips in the Bahamas.

Powered by two Detroit Diesel 1271s, the Eagle cruises at about 15 knots depending on sea conditions. The Eagle has two generators and two dive compressors onboard.

Navigation and Safety Equipment
The wheelhouse is outfitted with the latest electronic and navigation equipment including GPS units, depth recorders, satellite weather fax, radar, VHF and single sideband radios, and satellite phone. U.S. Coast Guard inspected and certified, the Eagle has all the latest safety equipment such as two 18-person self deploying life rafts, an EPIRB unit, and firefighting system. An outboard engined dingy is stored on the top deck and lowered to the water with a hydraulic powered davit and winch.

Creature Comforts
The Eagle is fully air conditioned throughout, has seven passenger cabins, and galley and crew quarters in the bow. Fresh water is supplied by a reverse osmosis water maker. Two marine heads and two showers are aft in the salon, with an additional shower out on deck.
